Built in the second half of the 12th century, the Castle of Paderne is known for its small rural fortification and its located in the region of the Algarve.

The Millennium Foundation awarded a grant to the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve to carry out the restoration of the modules of Taipa Almohad from the castle’s tower of Albarrã.
