A PARTIR DO SURREALISMO it’s a collective exhibition of eight artists from the Millennium bcp Collection who, in addition to divulging this important Collection, aims at simultaneously enhancing contemporary Portuguese art. The artists present are: Cruzeiro Seixas, Mário Cesariny, António Dacosta, Carlos Calvet, Vespeira, Eduardo Luiz, Paula Rego and Graça Morais.

In the exhibition A Partir do Surrealismo, “intrudes” (LAND) SCAPING NORMATIVE THINKING by the painter Rui Macedo, especially invited, who likes to work in museum spaces and in dialogue with the memories of painting. From the landscape theme, he constructs an unexpected story: his paintings were first there, in the gallery spaces, and were “the paintings of others” that came partially overlapping, leaving still enough pieces to be able to to invent dialogues between one another…
