The fourth UNESCO Cathedra in Portugal was presented in June 2016 with the theme “Geoparks, Sustainable Regional Development and Healthy Lifestyles”. This project aims is to create a network of research, teaching and training for Master’s and PhD students, in the areas of geoconservation, climate change, geological tourism and sustainable development.
The Millennium bcp Foundation funds two PhD scholarships and a Master’s degree so that students from Angola and Mozambique can take advantage of this academic environment.
