Mafra’s National Palace

One of the Foundation’s priorities is the rehabilitation of national cultural heritage, that is why it gave its support for the restoration of the Throne Room of the National Palace of Mafra and the construction of a miniature model. This monument, ordered to build in the XVIII century by D. João V, includes a Royal Palace, a Basilica, a Convent and a Tapada and is decorated with sculptures, paintings, facades and religious implements from France and Italy.
